Will Hanley is an associate in the Emeryville office of Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld. Mr. Hanley represents labor unions in state and federal court, in grievance arbitrations, and in administrative proceedings, including before the National Labor Relations Board. He also provides advice to the firm’s union clients on a variety of labor and employment issues.
Mr. Hanley received his law degree from UC Hastings in 2019 after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Southern California in 2016. During law school, Mr. Hanley worked as a summer law clerk with WRR and interned with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Administrative Law Judges, where he reviewed workers’ compensation claims brought under the Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act. He also served as a senior articles editor for the Hastings Law Journal and was a member of the UC Hastings moot court team at the National Appellate Advocacy Competition. Mr. Hanley participated in the UC Hastings Workers’ Rights Clinic, where he had the opportunity to represent low-wage workers before the California Labor Commissioner.
Mr. Hanley is a Bay Area native and the proud son of a firefighter and a teacher. He is licensed to practice law in California.
