Labor-Management Cooperation Committees

Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld represents a number of Labor-Management Cooperation Committees, or LMCCs, formed under the Federal Labor Management Cooperation Act of 1978 (section 175a of Title 29 of the United States Code).  We understand the important role that LMCCs play in enforcing labor laws and competitive bidding laws nationwide, particularly in advocating on behalf of workers who are not represented by a labor union.

We have extensive experience setting up LMCCs including by drafting their bylaws and applying for tax-exempt status on their behalf.  We understand the federal regulations that apply to LMCCs and their funding sources, and work collaboratively to ensure that our LMCC clients are in compliance with all applicable laws.
